James is the Managing Principal of Lowe Capital Management LLC. He is responsible for all aspects of operations including idea generation, deal sourcing, transaction execution and portfolio company management.

Prior to founding Lowe Capital, James was an investor at Baird Capital, a lower middle market private equity group based in Chicago, IL. James focused on U.S. based investment opportunities in the industrial, commercial and consumer sectors.
​
Prior to joining Baird Capital, James worked in investment banking with J.P. Morgan focused on M&A, debt and equity offerings and strategic advisory for industrial, commercial, distribution, auto and build products clients.
​
James earned his BS in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from Case Western University.
